Edward the Bird is a baby bird that only appeared in the episode Ed's Benedict. As an egg, he/she/it was stuck into Edward's bed by Dave and Ping Pong, and, thinking that he laid it, Edward named the egg after himself. Eventually the bird hatched, making the platypus realize that he and the bird are not the same species, and therefore he did not lay the egg. The bird's mother then collects the egg and flies off with it, but not before scolding Edward (the platypus, not the bird).
