The Great Snipe Hunt is the fourteenth episode of season two and the episode on the series.
Lumpus sends the scouts on a wild-goose chase after a snipe.
Lumpus plays a prank on the Bean Scouts as they are on the search for the "snipe," but Lumpus is caught and the Jelly Beans think he's a "snipe."
According to Edward, the snipe hunt is a trick Lumpus pulls on the Beans every year.
There actually is a real-life creature living in the wild that is known as a snipe. Snipes are little white birds that live on rhino's in order to feast on parasites that live on the rhino's skin.
Samson: I heard about these kinds of things. The insane Scoutmaster takes his troupe out to the woods, uh, there's an axe, and a pile of bones, and, and some marbles, an' a bag of cereal! An' all they find is an eyebrow!
(Lumpus glares at Samson, now wearing a huge bushy monobrow.)
Raj: It is obvious that we are going to the hot springs.
Clam: No. Night picnic.
Lazlo: I think we're going out to collect glow worms!
Samson: Killer glow worms.
Edward: (mockingly) Hold onto your eyebrows!
Lumpus: Did I put in a request for stupid comments?!
(Edward's eyebrows fall right off.)
